Let me tell you a story.
A long long time ago.
In a far off land filled with robes and bald
There was 2 wise men and 1 woman who crossed
Here layeth their tale:
“A senior monk and a junior monk were
At one point, they came to a river with a
strong current. As the monks were preparing
to cross the river, they saw a very young and
beautiful woman also attempting to cross.
The young woman asked if they could help her
cross to the other side. The two monks
glanced at one another because they had taken
vows not to touch a woman.
Then, without a word, the older monk picked
up the woman, carried her across the river,
placed her gently on the other side, and
carried on his journey.
The younger monk couldn’t believe what had
just happened. After rejoining his companion,
he was speechless, and an hour passed without
a word between them.
Two more hours passed, then three, finally
the younger monk could contain himself any

permitted a woman, how could you then carry
that woman on your shoulders?”
The older monk looked at him and replied,
“Brother, I set her down on the other side of
the river, why are you still carrying her?”
Far too often we tend to hold on to reasons
as to why we can’t change.
“I just can’t do this because of…’ (fill in
100 different excuses)
Truth be told.
That’s a lie.
We tend to hold onto past stories in our
How do I know?
Because I used to be guilty of doing this myself.
Placing blame on everything and everyone else, but myself.
But in my experience I’ve learned the key to moving forward across any area of life…
**Your Body (optimized to take on every day with full power)
One you feel confident, powerful, and healthy in.
=>Instead of one that makes you feel unhappy, drained and embarrassed.
**Your Relationships (being able to show up
for your significant other and loved ones with full
energy, presence, and connection)
=>Instead of feeling guilty about being ‘too busy’ to be there for them.
**Your Career (better you feel, the better
you produce and the better you produce, the
more money you make to provide for those you
…is to completely let go.
Let go of HOW you hold on to the past.
See, the past isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
It’s all about your perspective and how you view past failures.
Instead of holding on to the past as a crutch to hold you back
from doing anything at all… consider embracing it.
Remember there are no losses only lessons.
So if you experienced failure in the past before…
Now learn from it.
By simply switching up your strategy of how you go about achieving it.
