Let me break things down for you my man
It doesn’t matter how hard you work or how
relentless you might be..
There are a couple of key flaws that could be
stopping your progress my good man..
*You’re not following a periodized plan
If you don’t have a plan you will simply not
make progress.
Whether you want to “tone” up, lean out or
just get in overall better shape
Going through the motions will simply not get
you there. Something all the Modern Man
members are
fully aware of…
*You’re Not Challenging Yourself Enough
I don’t care if you have 20 minutes or 60
minutes to put towards exercise each day..
If you don’t challenge yourself by using
implementing some kind of strength training ,
varying your rep schemes, or
taking shorter rest periods..
Your fat will be in for the long haul and
won’t go anywhere
*Your Testosterone Levels aren’t Optimal
To purge that extra (unwanted) fat from your
body, high testosterone is important to keep
in check
For most clients I recommend at least twice
a week having a diet that is rich in fats
Especially the saturated ones..
Yes, saturated fats
As long as high quality fats aren’t mixed
with a high carbohydrate diet
(low carb on these days)
Than testosterone production will be
flourishing and so
will accelerated weight loss
fish oil high in epa and dha is a must as

Then stick to
Sprinting

Do them all in a row for a duration of 40
seconds each
Then take 10 seconds of break before going
into the next exercise
Take 1 minute rest after each round (after
you complete all 5 exercises in a row)

The most important aspect in anyone’s life is time..
Especially if you’re a busy guy on the go
It’s something we can’t get back and it’s best if used wisely to get
things done, especially when it comes to working out and burning fat efficiently.
You can complete a full body workout within 15-20 minutes, leaving you no excuses to get into the shape you desire.
Besides saving time, barbell complexes will rapidly increase your metabolism and have you mobilizing body fat.
When you mobilize body fat you’re able to use fat as an energy source. This will help you burn fat from stubborn areas at a faster rate.
I wouldn’t recommend doing any isolation movements during a complex.
Your goal should be to put together 4-5 exercises that will get your entire body working.
Exercises such as:
Deadlifts
Push-Press
Squats
Pull-Ups
Barbell Rows
Squat to Press
If your a beginner to lifting, just make sure you go through each movement pattern to make sure your comfortable with every exercise before starting.

It’s important that you don’t forget tempo or rest.
The rest will be varied between different complexes, but just make sure you’re aware of your time.
Tempo will be another big factor. You want to focus on keeping a steady negative (which is the descend of any exercise) for at least 3-4 seconds.
Below is a full Barbell Complex that I filmed with long time coaching client Chad M.
Watch his form carefully, take note of his tempo and rest time.

If for some reason you can’t complete some of the exercises

You’re having trouble with completing the rounds, try easing into things
and do the best you can.
The goal is not to master this workout one time
It’s simply a catalyst to get you to practice each movement frequently
and
as time goes on you’re performance will get better and so will your RESULTS
