After finishing up a busy one yesterday
I got a chance to spend some time with my
better half
At times there is usually some type of binging
going on..
I’m not talking food or drinking here my friend
I’m talking…

Admit it
You’ve binged watched one or two series
yourself
House of Cards
Sons of Anarchy
Breaking Bad
Orange is the New Black
And out of all of these series it’s very
tough to just watch
One episode..
Remember when netflix first came out
and everyone raved about the dvd sleeves you
could get in the mail..
At the time it was cool, plus they basically
took Blockbuster to their knees
(which blockbuster could have opted in to own
netflix in the beginning..
but decided against
it..Bad Move on their part)
Anyhoo,
Since there were very few streaming series to
watch
I remember constantly ordering the
dvds..
One movie in particular caught my eye..
‘The Secret’
Now, before you checkout and go back to

I’m not about the whole
“Believe it & it will happen mantra”
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a positive guy, but I
also know
To get exactly what you want in life has nothing to
do with the actual
Idea or Thought you have in your head..
But the EXECUTION you choose to do (or) not
to do
In reality
When it comes down to the goals you want to
reach
and
Actually getting the Body you want
The only thing that matters is
What
You
DO
NOT What you ‘hope for’
NOT what you ‘dream of’
NOT what you ‘talk’ about
It’s WHAT YOU DO that will determine whether
or not you reach what you want to achieve

Everything is based in Modern day times
Us “Humans”
Aren’t so impressed by much of anything..
(we are so hard to impress these days)
Including damn dinosaurs..
All everyone wants is
BIGGER
BADDER
&
Might I add
MORE TEETH
So they decide to cook something special up
in the lab…
Don’t worry…
I’ll let you catch it for
yourself to find out exactly what they did
Anyhoo..
One thing that they brought back in similar
form, but also showed a new side of their
bad ass selves was..
The Velociraptors
Yet this time around they are behaving with
same intelligence of our modern day animals
Respecting humans and cooperating with what
ever signals are thrown at them
But besides behaving differently
There is one distinct characteristic about them that
hasn’t changed
Their ability to run in packs..
Never going ALONE
Survival
Food
Fun (if you want to call it that)
You name it
Everything they do
Is as ONE
With the ability to perform feats like taking
on dinosaurs 10 times larger than them..
Reminds me of all the busy professionals
within the LostFit family..
Stressed
Overweight
Overwhelmed
Confused on where to start
Truly unhappy with their physical presence
and
The way it’s effecting those closest to them in life
Whether it be the confidence to take on new
relationships
or
The ability to have more energy to get
through the day
They wanted more…
Regardless if it’s through LostFit in person or online..
With everything out there at there finger

The number ONE thing I always come
across that someone is lacking is true
ACCOUNTABILITY
Not some rep counter, who’s either too into
themselves to realize you’re there
or
Even worse someone more out of shape trying

(I never quite understood that)
See, going through any journey of change can
be a tough road
&
Without accountability and constant support
Making it to the GOALS you truly want
Can be almost damn near impossible
Regardless of the accountability they get
from me
They get massive support from everyone else
within the group
And to be 100% honest with you..
No one
I repeat
NO one
Likes going through a difficult journey of
change alone…
Me included my friend
When someone is having an ‘off’ week or
struggles within everyday life..
The group is always there as a whole
Making sure everyone is on point with hitting
their goals and most important of all..
Holding everyone accountable for all the
things they said they would ACCOMPLISH
when they started their transformation

And something unique happens as an unbreakable bond is formed..

Flashing back to a question I had earlier this week…
The one saying…
“Hey if I take this fat burner..will I get rid of my belly fat?
(pretty much the first question I’m always asked)
The answer..
No
No you won’t
Let me explain my friend..
Too many times I see people looking for the “magic pill” or the quick fix..
I get it though, instant gratification is what we all desire
that’s why marketing has taken over the masses, making false promises that aren’t reality
Don’t get me wrong there are a few that I recommend..
but only if everything else is in check..
Let’s start from the bottom

**Get Lean
to
**Increase Confidence
**Increase intimacy with your better half or partner
**Have more energy to keep up with your loved ones
and pretty much
UNLEASH your BEST body ever

Than let’s take a look at your current REALITY
-What does your current training routine look like?
-What does your daily nutrition look like?
-What do your sleep habits look like?
-Are your stress levels under control?
-How about Hydration? (not talking booze here amigo)
^^^Answer all the above first

and only than
do supplements ever come into play..

Going through the endless motions at the gym just to check the box and say you did

be a tough, but let me break down how to
avoid this trap..

AVOIDING THE FALL OUT

1. Having Uninformed Optimism
Also known as “Bright & Shiny Object
Syndrome”
“Bring it on” “This time will be different, I
just know it”
People looking for the magic pill Those who
are always ” starting on Monday”
This can also be known as the “Rainbows, Fairies, and Unicorns Phase..”
Motivated, Pumped, and Ready to kill it..
However..this never lasts long
2. Next up: Informed pessimism
When you actually realize it’s actually going
to require you to put in work
It’s not going to be as EASY as you initially
thought
(Simple never means easy)
Have you ever played golf…?
Prime example of this
In this stage you will feel constant
resistance and begin telling yourself the
usual stories…
“I’m fine”
“Things are ok”
“I’m happy just as
I am” “Could be worse..”
3. The infamous Valley of Despair
This is where most surrender or quit..
ALL the benefits you once envisioned in the
beginning don’t seem as important..
All you feel is constant resistance, pain,
and frustration
The goal or payoff seems way out of reach..
People end up taking the easy route and end up
looping right back into the crap they were
doing before..
So how do you take control and charge at warp
speed through the valley of despair and reach
the sacred land of results…?
It boils down to your level of commitment..
Are you going to do what you said you were
going to do…?
Yes or No (Maybe doesn’t cut it)
It’s that simple
To top it off, write this one down my friend
“Only when the pain of staying where you are
becomes more painful than the pain of change,
will change actually happen”
4. Then we have Informed Optimism
You show up every day
Your consistent DAILY actions are on point
That is what will determine your results
Don’t worry about perfection…
Strive for consistency
Detach from the outcome..
Keep training and hitting the gym Keep
conscious of your food intake Keep MOVING
LEARN..
From the process..
It’s when you’re not seeing results for your
efforts put in, that you will learn the most
Difference of surrendering in the valley of
despair and pushing into informed optimism..
Learning your lessons
Then all the actions you put forth will begin
to bear all the fruit you’ve been longing for
Because when it comes down to actions done
consistently..
Habits are born..
And habits will determine RESULTS..
5. Finally, we have success and FULFILLMENT
AKA–>The Holy Grail
One thing people don’t usually talk about
when it comes to achieving a results is..
Keeping SCORE
How do you know if you’re winning or moving
forward if you don’t keep score?
Another key to leave you with..
Lack of scoring leads to
more–>Rationalization about why you failed..

The most important aspect in anyone’s life is time.
It’s something we can’t get back and it’s best if used wisely to get
things done, especially when it comes to working out and burning fat efficiently.
You can complete a full body workout within 15-20 minutes, leaving you no excuses to get into the shape you desire.
Besides saving time, barbell complexes will rapidly increase your metabolism and have you mobilizing body fat.
When you mobilize body fat you’re able to use fat as an energy source. This will help you burn fat from stubborn areas at a faster rate.
I wouldn’t recommend doing any isolation movements during a complex.
Your goal should be to put together 4-5 exercises that will get your entire body working.
Exercises such as:
Deadlifts
Push-Press
Squats
Pull-Ups
Barbell Rows
Squat to Press
If your a beginner to lifting, just make sure you go through each movement pattern to make sure your comfortable with every exercise before starting.
It’s important that you don’t forget tempo or rest.
The rest will be varied between different complexes, but just make sure you’re aware of your time.
Tempo will be another big factor. You want to focus on keeping a steady negative (which is the descend of any exercise) for at least 3-4 seconds.
