Before we dive into the cure of ridding moobs for good.
Let’s dive deep into the root of the problem.
The simple explanation for possessing moobs is do to an imbalance between two hormones.
-Testosterone
&
-Estrogen
More specifically, it’s the conversion of enzymes produced through testosterone that ultimately turn into more estrogen.
Regardless of how “Manly” your are as a person
Testosterone should be your top priority as far as optimizing overall health and vitality.
-More Defined Lean Muscle
-Greater Fat Loss
-Increase in Sex Drive
-Improvement of Overall Energy Levels
All great outcomes that having higher testosterone can give you
Though both males and females possess estrogen, it’s important to make sure the male doesn’t
produce mass quantities of it.
If you have excessive amounts of estrogen roaming through your body as a male, you will begin to form
similar fat patterns to that of your female counterpart.
i.e. Wider Hips & Breasts
The first step is to take control of your estrogen levels.
I’ll tell you right now, if your 25-30 plus pounds overweight for your frame, your only goal should be to lose a significant amount of fat, before
creating a defined good looking chest.
Better yet, for your healths sake, if you drop just ten pounds of body fat, you will begin to see massive improvements.
The other culprit that keeps your breast at large is excessive drinking of beer. The estrogenic compounds contained in beer are delivered straight from the hops.
Though booze in general isn’t necessarily your friend in a fat loss protocol, you still can live a little and have the body you want.
Let’s break down the “how to” on ditching these things for good
1. Exercise
This should be a given, but you must make sure your doing the right protocol..
Running and Endless Cardio will actually hinder your results (more on this in a later post)
If you begin to weight train, even for just 3 times a week, you will begin to see significant improvement in both your
body fat numbers and testosterone levels.
2) Fix Your Diet
Again, coming as no surprise if you want to stop being top heavy, you need to turn your food habits around.
No, you don’t have to eat 6-8 meals per day of chicken and broccoli..
That’s ridiculous and I would never recommend putting any of my busy coaching clients through this type of regimen.
However, you have to start being conscious of what goes down your pie hole.
I recommend start putting more whole foods within your diet. The more green you can go as far as veggies are concerned
your gold.
Broccoli in general will contain nutrients that will help regulate overall estrogen levels and keep things balanced.
That doesn’t mean you have to put them in every meal or live like a hermit..
You just need to start throwing them in, it will help a ton.
For one final recommendation. Take in at least 25-30 grams of soluble fiber a day.
This will help pull any lingering estrogen agents from your body.
Extra fiber sources:
-Chia Seeds (magical seeds that contain at least 3-4 grams of fiber per tablespoon)
-Avocados
-Nuts
-Any original fiber supplement
